Check whether a service charge is already included before adding a tip. Splits are equal rather than based on individual orders.
How it works
The tip is rounded to the nearest penny and added to the bill. Total pennies are split equally; any remaining pennies are assigned one each to some people.
A quick example
An £85 bill plus 10% is £93.50. Two of four people pay £23.38 and two pay £23.37, so the split adds up exactly.
Good to know
Can I split without a tip?
Yes, set the tip to 0%.
Why might people pay different pennies?
Some totals cannot divide equally to the penny. The displayed allocation keeps the combined payment exactly equal to the total.
